Edibility
This mushroom is poisonous if consumed raw and must be thoroughly cooked, though some individuals may still experience gastric distress. It has a mild or sweet flavor and a pleasant smell. Foragers should distinguish it from the smaller and browner Tawny Grisette as well as Caesar's Mushroom, and remain cautious of potential confusion with the deadly Deathcap.
